1.    Joojeh kabab (Persian Chicken Kabob)

The first and traditional Iranian chicken dish on my list that I prepare for you, Joojeh Kabab, is prepared by marinating chicken pieces in a blend of yogurt, lemon juice, saffron, and spices.

There are two variations of joojeh kabab:

  1. bone-in
  2. boneless.

Chicken wings and drumsticks make bone-in joojeh kababs, whereas chicken breasts and thighs are used to make boneless chicken kebabs.

Zereshk Polo Ba Morgh

2. Zereshk Polo ba morgh (Persian Barberry Rice with Chicken)

It is turning the second most delicious traditional Iranian chicken dish, Zereshk polo ba morgh. This is among the many mixed rice dishes for Persian dinner parties, weddings, and other joyous occasions.

Compared to other Iranian khoresh(es), Zereshk Polo ba Morgh is a very straightforward idea.

Because the chicken is prepared in a separate pot in a tomato saffron sauce, this dish can be easily scaled up; the same goes for the rice.

Imagine saffron-infused rice layered with tender chicken and sweet, plump raisins. It's a real treat! I agree! When you mix those mesh meshes and chicken, it's like a flavor explosion. The balance of flavors is just amazing.

So, if you love sweet foods, you'll adore this delicious raisin rice dish called Keshmesh Polo!

Persian Chicken Biryani

7. Persian Chicken Biryani (Morgh Biryani)

The Persian Chicken Biryani, sometimes called "Iranian Biryani" or "Morgh Biryani," is a rice Iranian chicken dish.

It is noted for its savory and fragrant qualities. A wonderful and one-of-a-kind variety of biryani is produced due to the combination of Persian and South Asian ingredients.
